What is Ethical Select?
Ethical Select was born from the understanding that the Vancouver area design trends are unique in North America.
Being a cosmopolitan city situated on the West Coast, Vancouver is a leader in design trends; often following the cutting edge coming out of design hubs like San Francisco and Los Angeles.
We have a very particular aesthetic here that is not necessarily followed by the rest of Canada. Flooring manufactures in North America must cater to a (very) wide range of design preferences. What clients desire in the South-East of the USA are not the same as on the West Coast of Canada!
What this means is that a portion of the flooring provided to Ethical Flooring by our suppliers is not going to appeal to our clients. With this in mind, we have created the Ethical Select label. Showcasing Ethical Select products allows us to pick the best colours from our favourite products and create a curated collection to present to our clients.
When choosing an Ethical Select floor, you are guaranteed that Ethical Flooring has qualified the floor as meeting all of our very strict criteria for quality, price, and chemical emissions (VOC’s); you are choosing from among the best floors available in a given category.
Seeing as that we are choosing our favourite floors from among many of our preferred suppliers, the flooring will not show up at your home in an Ethical Select box - it will be packaged in the original box the manufacturer provides it in. This is the only difference in buying an Ethical Select floor; all the same warranties and outstanding service provided by Ethical Flooring still apply.
